Sodality of Immaculate Conception
Profile:
The Sodality of the Immaculate Conception is the first branch of the Marian Family and is made up of adults following a set program of rules. Their objective is to deepen their faith and to live more fully with Mary as their model, and to support the members of the other family branches in their spiritual journey and activities.
The Sodality of the Immaculate Conception was established by Sister Madeline de La Croix in 1974 and still remains an active and strong committee in our parish.
Task Ministries:
Members of the Sodality meet for weekly prayer in Arabic before the 8.00am Divine Liturgy on Sunday and at 6.30 pm on Wednesday for prayers in English. There is a general meeting each month.
Spiritual activities include Gospel Nights, Adoration, Rosary, Monthly Rosary and Mass for Our Lady of Fatima Apparition, Marian Processions, May home visits, Spiritual Retreats, trips to various Shrines.
The Sodality renew their Vows every year on December 8, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and welcomes new members into the Sodality during the celebration.
Eligibility for Membership:
The Sodality is open to all adults who are ready to commit themselves to living as children of Mary.
They make a promise to Mary , Mother of God to live their commitment faithfully.

أخـــويّـة الحبل بلا دنــــس.
لمحة تعريفيّة:
إن أخوية الحبل بلا دنس هي الفرع الأول للعائلة المريمية ، أعضاؤها من البالغين الذين يتبعون برنامجًا محددًا من القواعد. هدفهم هو تعميق إيمانهم والعيش بشكل أكمل مع مريم كنموذج لهم، ودعم أعضاء فروع العائلة الأخرى في مسيرتهم وأنشطتهم الروحية.
تأسست أخوية الحبل بلا دنس سنة 1974على يد الأخت مادلين دو لا كروا ، وما زالت حتى اليوم، لجنة فعّالة وقوية في رعيتنا.
مهمة اللجنة :
يجتمع أعضاء الأخوية أسبوعيّاً، كل يوم أحد قبل قداس الساعة 8.00 صباحًا، لصلاة فرض الأخوية باللغة العربية ، وكل يوم أربعاء عند الساعة 6.30 مساءً للصلاة باللغة الإنجليزية. كما وهناك إجتماع عام مرةً واحدة كل شهر.
تشمل النشاطات الروحية : سهرات إنجيلية، ساعة سجود، تلاوة المسبحة الوردية، والمسبحة الوردية الشهرية، قداس بمناسبة ظهور السيدة العذراء في فاطيما، زياحات مريمية، زيارات البيوت مع تمثال السيّدة العذراء في شهر أيار ، رياضات روحية، ورحلات دينية إلى مختلف المزارات.
تحتفل الأخوية بتجديد نذورها كل سنة في 8 كانون الأول عيد الحبل بلا دنس، وترحِّب بالمنتسبن الجدد الى الأخوية خلال هذا الاحتفال.
أهلية العضوية:
إن الإنتساب الى أخوية الحبل بلا دنس، مرحّب به لجميع البالغين، المستعدّين للالتزام بالعيش كأبناءٍ لمريم.
يقطعون وعدًا للعذراء مريم، والدة الله، بأن يعيشوا إلتزامهم بأمانة.
